Entrepreneurship Enthusiasts: Those Who Create a Path or Find One

In recent years, as Iran has faced numerous economic, social, and managerial challenges, many elites and investors have left the country for various reasons, including mismanagement and a rent-seeking environment. However, some have chosen to stay and, with love and commitment, create a new path for development and value creation in Iran. These individuals, driven by a love for their homeland, strong determination, and creative minds, have stood firm against the challenges and have endeavoured to bring about sustainable change in their birthplace. One of these individuals is Masoud Sarami. The Safar monthly magazine, in its latest issue published in September, which focuses on Isfahan’s tourism, features a special report on this entrepreneur’s management perspective and Masoud Serami’s sustainable investment style.

Health Town and City Center: Icons of Sustainable Development in Isfahan

In his hometown of Isfahan, Sarami has made substantial investments in infrastructure, leading to significant transformations in various fields. The Health & City Center, hotels, and the construction of 24 factories that have created 25,000 sustainable jobs are examples of these transformations. With a prudent and forward-thinking approach, Serami has invested in the less developed areas of Isfahan and paid close attention to the selection of projects and their locations. His goal has been to ensure that wealth is distributed equitably across the city, thereby improving the quality of life in different regions of Isfahan.

However, Sarami’s successes have not come without challenges. He once stated, “One of the reasons for my continued work is the obstacles placed in my way, but I have built wheels that those obstacles cannot hinder.” This statement reflects how he has overcome obstacles with strong determination and achieved significant accomplishments.

School of Economics: Nurturing the Wise for Iran’s Future

Sarami also emphasizes the crucial role of competent human resources in the success of his projects. He believes that valuable structures truly make an impact in society only when committed and wise individuals manage them. For this reason, he established the School of Economics to educate wise and responsible students. This school, founded to nurture the next generation of managers and leaders of the country, has attracted many applicants. In this school, ethics and human values are prioritized as the most important educational principles.

The Key Role of Investment in Isfahan’s Tourism Growth

Additionally, Sarami highlights the positive impacts of his projects on Isfahan’s tourism industry. Isfahan City Center, spanning 750,000 square meters, is an example of these projects that have helped reduce traffic in the city centre and improve the quality of life in Isfahan. He believes that his investments in tourism will yield highly positive results in the long term, combining both software and hardware approaches.

Sarami also points out the necessity of entrepreneurs’ involvement in national decision-making processes. He believes that fostering a sense of responsibility among individuals, especially officials with significant duties, can help improve governance performance and efficiency. This new management approach that Serami advocates, which relies on initiative, creativity, and innovation, can lead to organizational growth and enhance the quality of services in the country.

Hope and Joy: Essential Needs for Sustainable Development

In conclusion, Masoud Sarami emphasizes that hope and joy are two key factors for the development and progress of society. He believes that the only way to save the country is through education, happiness, well-being, and future orientation, and we must strive to achieve different outcomes in productivity and sustainable development by changing management methods and creating new models.

Ultimately, the innovative management perspectives that Sarami believes in, based on his successful experiences, could become a model for sustainable development in the country and pave the way for significant transformations in the future.
